About SEA Electric

SEA Electric was founded in Australia in 2012 and is an automotive technology company that has created proprietary electric power-system technology (known as SEA-Drive®) for the world’s urban delivery and distribution fleets.

After 5 years of product development and field testing, SEA Electric launched its first model in 2017 once the cost of lithium-ion dropped below the USD300/kWh threshold. Since then SEA Electric has released 7 x, SEA-Drive® models, to power rear-wheel drive cargo vans/commuter buses and cab/chassis trucks from 3.5t (7,700 lbs) GVM to 29t (64,000 lbs) GVM.

Advanced Clean Trucks

The Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF) regulation from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) complements the Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) regulation from 2021 to further accelerate a large-scale transition to zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (MHD) in California. Several pieces of the regulation initiate December 2023 and January 2024, with ACF culminating in a full ZEV transition of target fleets by 2035. CARB expects ACF to introduce 1.7 million MHD ZEVs to California by 2050, providing a net cost savings of $48 billion to fleets.

HVIP 2024 | Rebates up to $120k per Vehicle

Are you considering purchasing, or leasing, an EV commercial truck from C&M? Our team has the knowhow to secure you rebates for EV trucks, charging stations and infrastructure and pass the entire saving on to you.

The Advanced Clean Fleet rule requires fleets with 50 or more vehicles, or $50M+ in gross revenue, are required to have a percentage of their fleet zero-emission beginning 2024.

If your fleet meets the Advanced Clean Fleet rule you have until the end of 2024 to take advantage of California rebate programs that will significantly reduce the cost of purchasing your EV vehicle.

For those that are not mandated by the Advanced Clean Fleet rule, but are interested in an EV because of the significant rebate, service cost reduction, and fuel savings, you also benefit from state and federal incentives.

Checkout what you may qualify for below!
• HVIP is up to $120k in rebates per vehicle
• IRS write offs are up to $40k
• And other programs such as Carl Moyar can be stacked on top of HVIP

Clean Truck Check

C&M Motors, Inc. is an approved Clean Truck Check location with multiple technicians trained as tester’s. We have the latest OBD software to provide the California Air Resource Board with required emissions information.

Clean Truck Check Applicability and Exemptions

Clean Truck Check requires non-gasoline (diesel, alternative fuel, and hybrid) trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles, such as California-registered motorhomes, with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) over 14,000 pounds that operate in California to undergo emissions testing. Clean Truck Check applies to most vehicles that operate in California, regardless of where they are registered. The purpose of the program is to ensure all emissions related equipment is functioning properly for the life of the vehicle.
