HVIP Program Incentives
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives on December 10, 2020. The Plan allocates $25 million from the Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) to HVIP and includes several changes to HVIP policy including streamline voucher table and revised amounts, lowered fleet cap, and modified classification and eligibility criteria. A zero-emission commercial electric truck would certainly qualify as an HVIP-eligible product.
As you may be aware, the HVIP funding will be announced soon and securing a voucher or vouchers for 2021 is time sensitive. Contact the knowledgeable staff at C&M Motors for more information on both SEA Electric and the upcoming HVIP incentive program.
